In February, 2014, Governor Jan Brewer announced the appointment of Michael J. Lacey to serve as the new Director of ADWR. His appointment fills the vacancy by the departure of Sandra Fabritz-Whitney who resigned to accept a position at Freeport McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. where she will be assuming duties as Director of Water Strategy.
